Digital Support

Your digital person, without hiring a digital person.

Most small businesses don't need someone working on their website, SEO and digital presence every day.

But having someone who knows your business, keeps an eye on things and is there when you need them can be incredibly useful.

01 / Someone who knows the business

You shouldn't have to explain your business from scratch every time something comes up.

Working with a business over time means I get to know it: the business itself, the website, your customers and competitors, what your priorities are and what has already been tried.

So when something happens, or an idea comes up, we aren't starting again from zero. I already have the background.

The longer I work with your business, the more useful I can become.

02 / Keeping an eye on things

I don't wait for you to spot every problem.

Depending on what we agree, I keep watch on how your website is performing in search, Google Search Console, your local visibility and Google Business Profile, your reviews, what competitors are doing and anything important that goes wrong on the website. I look out for new opportunities too.

If something meaningful changes, I'll investigate it and tell you what I think is happening.

If I see something worth your attention, I'll tell you.

03 / When something needs sorting

Sometimes you just need someone to call.

I'm not an IT helpdesk, but if it's connected to your website or wider digital presence, there's a good chance I can help.

If it's something I can sort, I will. If it needs somebody else, I'll help you work out what you need.

  • Something on the website has stopped working
  • A form isn't sending enquiries
  • Your Google visibility suddenly changes
  • You need a new page
  • An email, domain or website issue appears
  • Somebody has suggested some software and you want a second opinion
  • You have an idea and want to know whether it's worth pursuing

04 / Proactive, not just reactive

I'll bring ideas to you too.

This isn't just me waiting for you to ask. I might notice a competitor doing something well, a search opportunity, a page that could perform better, a service worth promoting or something that simply isn't working as well as it should. Sometimes it's a change in how your customers are searching.

When I do, I'll explain the opportunity and whether I think it's worth spending time or money on.

You shouldn't have to become a digital expert to know what your business should do next.

05 / Clear updates

Know what's changed — and what actually needs attention.

I keep track of the performance that's relevant to your business and send you clear, concise updates focused on four things.

  • What changed.
  • What matters.
  • What needs attention.
  • What I recommend doing next.

You don't need another report full of charts. You need to know whether something needs doing.

The value is in the judgement: working out what matters and what to do first, not in the volume of reporting.

06 / Flexible support

Not every business needs the same level of help.

Some businesses only need light monitoring and recommendations. Others want ongoing SEO, website work and more regular support.

Some work can be included within an agreed monthly service, while larger pieces of implementation can be scoped separately.

Being able to contact me doesn't mean unlimited work is included. We'll agree what's covered, and if something sits outside that I'll tell you before doing it.

Start small. Add help when you need it.

  1. Monitor

I keep an eye on the important things and tell you what needs attention.

  2. Improve

We agree ongoing work such as SEO, website improvements or local visibility.

  3. Support

When other digital issues or opportunities come up, you already have someone who understands the business to talk to.

These aren't rigid packages, just a picture of how working together can build up.

Support that fits the business.

The right level of support depends on how much you want me to monitor, what ongoing work is involved and how hands-on you want me to be.

For some businesses that might be light monitoring and recommendations. For others it might include ongoing SEO, website improvements and regular support.

I'll agree what's included and what it costs before we start. You can see how I price my other work on the pricing page.

When you call, you get me.

You won't go through an account manager or support desk.

You'll speak to the person who knows the business and is actually doing the work.

That's a big part of how I want Grow Local to work.

Would it help to have someone keeping an eye on the digital side of your business?

Tell me what's currently taking up your time, causing problems or being ignored because nobody owns it.

I'll tell you whether I think I can help and what I'd suggest.
